Like its Wrangler sibling, the Gladiator features a straightforward interior configuration with a bewildering array of comfort features while remaining a decidedly rugged Jeep at heart. True to its Jeep name, the Gladiator Sport S is an all-wheel-drive truck that’s more than capable of wearing the Trail-Rated badge.
The Jeep Gladiator Sport also comes with an optional 3.0-liter Turbo EcoDiesel engine, derated to 260 hp but delivers a best-in-class 442 lb-ft of torque. The diesel engine ditches the six-speed in favor of an eight-speed automatic. It is mated to wide-track Gladiator axles to offer better acceleration than the Pentastar while adding the power needed to handle the low-end torque you’ll need when crawling over rocks on the trails.
