The Jeep Cherokee has been in the USA for almost 50 years and is now in its fifth generation. In its bid for the best hits, the Jeep sells a two-engine Cherokee, including a 271-horsepower 3.2-liter V6 and a 2.0T four-banger with around 270 hp and a torque of 295 lb-ft. A nine-speed automatic is common throughout the range, and you can choose front- or All-wheel-drive, with the Trailhawk model using the latest to make it one of the most capable off-roaders in the compact crossover area.

The idea is that the Jeep builds only stripped cars, used cars are long gone, and even the lower Jeep offerings have a modern, stylish and comfortable interior. The 2022 Cherokee interior is no different; the design may be simple, but the overall feel is welcoming and family-friendly and still retains a class feel, in part because of the highly recommended design by the great Grand Cherokee. All the knobs and buttons are easily accessible to the driver, and the quality of construction is up to standard. But the closet is much narrower than the best in the class, with limited daily storage space. As such, the trunk is less than ideal, especially considering the external track of the Cherokee.
The small windows and high ceilings magnify that the Cherokee has a claustrophobic cabinet. Still, the numbers suggest that it has a large interior in the compact crossover section. Getting in and out is easy, but if you are behind the wheel, visibility is limited by those tiny windows, making it difficult to see behind the car.
The seats themselves are comfortable and supportive. The basic models get adjustable front seats, but they are much higher in range, with eight-way front-lumbar control lumbar control becoming standard.
The interior of the Jeep Cherokee features a balance of solid plastics and soft touches, and it feels well integrated. As most Cherokees will spend their hard time at work transporting family members, pets, and more goods, the Jeep has appropriately decided to include basic model cars and hard-wearing fabric seats, offered in all black or a combination of black and Light. Frost beige. Inside, it also features Liquid Titanium markers and door cutters. Latitude Lux comes with premium leather, either Black or Black / Ski Gray, while the Trailhawk also sticks to the black interior with premium fabric/vinyl or leather.
This Jeep model has two engines to choose from for cutting-edge availability. The standard is a 3.2 liter Pentastar V6 engine – derived from the larger 3.6L unit found in almost all other Jeep products in the Cherokee in size. It is rare to find a V6 in the compact crossover segment, producing 271 hp and 239 lb-ft, which contributes to strong pulling power. It comes with a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The V6 is not surprising, but the low-down grunt is decent. It is a worthy companion of the Trailhawk, too, as the direct delivery of its naturally curved torque makes it ready to go off-road.
