The Wrangler’s basic engine is a 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. When paired with automatic transmission, it gets a Jeep’s aid program in Torque mild-hybrid. In the MotorTrend test, the Wrangler Rubicon with this engine and hand transmission sent a 0-60 time of 7.4 seconds.
Wrangler Sahara with this engine and automatic hits 60 mph in 6.9 seconds. The EPA fuel economy is 17/25 mpg city/highway for two-door models or 17/23 mpg for four-door models. Fuel economy is 20/24 mpg two-door automatic models, or 19/24mpg four-door models.
