The Jeep Grand Cherokee L answers the question many Jeep fans have asked: When will the Jeep build another three-line SUV? The brand has made some quixotic attempts on a 3-line car in the past, but all failed. In the MotorTrend test, the 0-60 mph speed on AWD-equipped models with this engine lasted between 6.6 and 7.7 seconds. The EPA’s rated fuel economy is 19/26 mpg city/highway for RWD models and 18/25 mpg for AWD models.
A 5.7-liter V-8 producing 360 hp and 390 lb-ft is available. The EPA’s average economy for the 2021 model is 14/22 mpg.
